We currently have one voluntary vacancy:
Opening the Aldeburgh Festival this year is a double bill of operas by Oliver Knussen based on two of the world's most beloved books for children - Where the Wild Things Are and Higglety Pigglety Pop!
We are looking for someone to assist the Opera Administrator for the two weeks preparation and rehearsal period immediately before and including the two Aldeburgh Festival performances (May 24 - June 10th inclusive).
You will need a full driving licence and lots of energy as the working day may at times be long but this is a great opportunity to gain first hand experience of everything it takes to put on an opera. Musical knowledge isn't essential but an interest in theatre and/or opera is. Expenses will be paid and we will provide one cooked meal a day and help with finding accommodation.
