Assistant, Artist Development and Artistic Planning

This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in the arts; combining sound musical knowledge with arts administration. Working primarily with our Artist Development and Planning teams you will provide administrative support and assist with the organisation of residencies, masterclasses and orchestral courses. You will also have the opportunity to assist with key events in our calendar such as the Aldeburgh Festival in June and Snape Proms in August.

Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly as part of a small team. You must have a full driver’s licence and be able to work additional hours, including some weekends.

Assistant Technician

We are looking for an Assistant Technician to join our busy team.  You will have at least 3 years' professional experience, which can include training, in a technical role in a theatre or concert hall and will be flexible, positive and enthusiastic - even under pressure.

We are known around the world for the international standard of our Aldeburgh Festival in June and our year-round programme of events including opera, contemporary dance, choral and orchestral concerts as well as programmes and residencies for young musicians and established professionals.  Concerts and events are presented in a variety of events and spaces in the local area as well as at Snape.  We also run a Proms season during August with a wide range of musical styles including jazz, folk, classical, big band and world music.

This post is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their professional career to develop and build their lighting and AV experience.
