    Creative Improvisation

The practice of creativity in music performance. Led by David Dolan, working with Mark Messenger, Drew Balch and Karin Greenhead, Aldeburgh Young Musicians will explore classical improvisation.

The musicians will investigate interpretation and performance techniques, including active listening and communication, rhythmic work through body language gestures and performance-related movement.

At the same time, our young percussionists will work as part of a mini 'residency', exploring ensemble, individual and orchestral repertoire with Sam Walton.
