Ann Murray on English Song

Mezzo-soprano Ann Murray has had a glittering career on the opera and concert stages of the world, and has brought to life the heroes and heroines of Handel, Mozart and Strauss. She is also a renowned interpreter of a wide-range of song, and closely associated with Britten’s beautiful song cycles for mezzo.

She is well-known to Aldeburgh audiences as an outstanding and transformative teacher and here brings her skills and experience to bear on songs by English composers, with a particular focus on Britten’s fascinating cycles.

Participants must cover their travel, accommodation and food costs (bursaries available).
