Applications for the Britten–Pears Programme 2012 and the Aldeburgh World Orchestra are now closed.
 

Aldeburgh World Orchestra, Aldeburgh Strings & Britten–Pears Orchestra Applicants

Applications are currently being reviewed and results will be sent in the week beginning 27 February 2012.
Please do not contact us regarding your result before 1 March 2012. Successful French Horn candidates may be informed of their result before this date. No other results will be released before 27 February. 

 

2012 Festival Vocal and Chamber Music Masterclass Applicants

Applications for the 2012 Festival Vocal and Chamber Music Masterclasses (Dawn Upshaw, Menahem Pressler, Pierre Laurent Aimard/Arditti Quartet/Lachenmann) are currently being reviewed and results will be sent out in the week beginning 27 February 2012.
Please do not contact us regarding your result before 1 March 2012. 
 
 
 

Britten–Pears Baroque Orchestra & International Academy of String Quartets Applicants

Applications for the Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra (Rousset:Rameau Operas-Ballets) and for the International Academy of String Quartets (Kopelman Quartet) are being reviewed and results will be sent out in March. Please do not contact us about your result before 1 April 2012. 

 
 

Poulenc: Les Mamelles de Tiresias 1 – 20 October 2012

Please note that the Poulenc programme is now a three week course, starting on 1 October.

Purcell: Dido and Aeneas 20 – 31 March 2013

Casting for Dido and Aeneas will take place later in 2012. 

 
 

New Music/New Media and other composition opportunities
