The Britten–Pears Orchestra is recruiting an Assistant Conductor to take part in orchestral courses.
An assistant will be selected by DVD audition to take part in the Easter, June and August courses in 2010. The successful candidate will have the opportunity of observing and assisting at rehearsals and sectionals, and will benefit from working on a wide variety of repertoire with a team of renowned and experienced conductors.
Applicants should submit an application form, CV, a recent DVD of their orchestral or chamber music conducting (unedited), and two letters of recommendation from an established musician.
