Programme in detail

Saturday 3 September 2011 - Saturday 10 September 2011

International Academy of String Quartets

Quatuor Mosaïques course directors

In a major development for our 2011 series of String Quartet masterclasses we are delighted to welcome all four members of the Quatuor Mosaïques to coach some of the top young quartets from around the world as well as performing themselves. With a focus this year on Haydn and Beethoven Quartets this is an unmissable opportunity for ambitious up-and-coming ensembles to share the Quatuor Mosaïques’ uniquely authoritative take on many of the genre’s greatest masterpieces.

Quartets must cover their travel, accommodation and food costs (bursaries available).

Masterclasses open to the public.
Recital 10 September 2011, in the Britten Studio
