Information

Artists from different disciplines (music, theatre/dance and visual arts) are invited to take part in this opportunity to explore artistic collaboration and inclusive practice within the field of arts education. Participants will explore creative, collaborative approaches for disabled and non-disabled artists to work together and produce new work.

  • This opportunity will help you to develop the necessary transferable skills in assisting, planning and leading workshops for non-specialist musical groups through creative arts.

  • Stephen Langridge will lead a team of animateurs and specialists in this field, including Jan Hendrickse, Kaz Langley and Ellie Rees, to guide, support and challenge you.

  • Participants will also have the opportunity to lead workshops with a group of young people based in Ipswich.

  • This course would suit artists looking to develop their workshop skills to use in the professional field. No previous experience of working in either education or with special needs is necessarily required. However, we do require you to have a passion for this type of work

  • Please note - All applicants must have a valid Enhanced CRB Disclosure. Limited places available.
