Aldeburgh World Orchestra
The AWO will be in residence at Aldeburgh Music for three weeks during the summer of 2012. The Residency will culminate in performances at Snape Maltings, London BBC Proms and other European venues. We are also in discussion to be part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
In order to realise this vision, the Britten-Pears Orchestra will be expanding its network of top calibre young artists with the aim of inviting them to partake in the AWO in 2012.
