Bladder-wrack
Photograph by Colin VirrA network of chambers and pods lies beached on the shingle. Part submerged and vibrating with sound, this discarded flotsam is transformed into an instrument of the sea. Descend onto the beach for a close encounter with Jevan Watkins Jones, who will join forces with 'Bladder-wrack', through use of live words that echo our relationship to the sea.

Leading up to the event and working with the community, Jevan, 'bicycle doctor' Kevin Ablitt and sound designer Mike Challis will be experimenting with ways of converting sea sounds into vibration, exploring the notion that our experience of music has much to do with inward sensation.

no picnic
Photograph by Colin VirrAldeburgh Education has commissioned this performance in which Share Music explores the possibilities of integrated music theatre and dance; disabled and non-disabled artists working together to make new work.

no picnic or three characters in search of an etiquette (and a picnic) - is a surreal experience, featuring dancers David Toole, Kaz Langley and Natalie Ayton, directed by Stephen Langridge, and introducing the ECO (English Crockery Orchestra), a specially convened, integrated group of (smashing) young people, working with composer Fraser Trainer.

WARNING: severe danger of public participation and audience creativity. Please bring your own picnic to play.
