Sound Moves plans to enable a creative exchange between schools within Suffolk, exploring the environment as an impetus for improvisation and composition. The project will deliver in-depth creative and technical training at a high level for teachers and pupils. It will develop skills in motion capture (video and digital stills photography) and music improvisation and composition, making use of music technology. The project will also create a final live performance on the stage at Snape Maltings Concert Hall celebrating the results of this project and the last three years of TAG. In addition, further teacher resources, containing a range of practical and theoretical ideas and approaches to dance and music creativity, using new media and technology will be produced. Sound Moves will provide useful, long-lasting skills for both teachers and pupils. The project will be teacher-led, with additional support from Aldeburgh Music and creative animateurs |
