Aldeburgh Young Musicians

Aldeburgh Young Musicians (AYM) is a new initiative launched in 2008, providing opportunities for young people from the Eastern region who have exceptional musical talent and potential.

Anyone aged 8 to 16 can join the scheme, which offers a mix of intensive weekend and residential courses designed to complement participants’ other musical activities.

The scheme brings contact with professional musicians and covers classical, jazz and world music, among other styles, as well as composition, chamber music and the use of technology.
