Exchanging Worlds

As part of Legacy Trust UK’s mission to build a lasting cultural and sporting legacy from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Aldeburgh Music develops a new multi-dimensional project that connects the Aldeburgh World Orchestra to the region, Exchanging Worlds.

Led by Aldeburgh Education, the team recently brought together nine artists to share first ideas and help create installations, by five groups of young people of Suffolk, that are inspired by the Aldeburgh World Orchestra.

The two-day residency was led by Jan Hendrickse and Mike Challis, and focused on concept development and identifying possible sites around Snape; the installations, including a sixth one in collaboration with students from the University of Hertfordshire, will be open to the public from Sunday 22 July
