Founded in 1998, the ambitious EnAccord String Quartet is one of the youngest quartets in the Netherlands.

The quartet is currently being coached by the Alban Berg Quartet at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne.

This performance has been prepared during an Aldeburgh Residency.

EnAccord Quartet

The EnAccord String Quartet has won prizes at various competitions including the 4th Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Austria (2009), the 5th Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition in Norway (2009), and the National Chamber Music Competition in Almere (2008).

Between 2003 and 2006 the EnAccord Quartet studied at the Netherlands String Quartet Academy (NSKA).

The four members participated in masterclasses given by the Alban Berg Quartet, the Borodin Quartet, the Amadeus Quartet, the Brodsky Quartet and the Juilliard Quartet.
