English Touring Opera

This autumn, English Touring Opera bring a combination of two unusual masterpieces – one dating back to Mozart’s times, first performed in 1775; the other, a new work by acclaimed composer Alexander Goehr, former featured composer at the Aldeburgh Festival, based on Shakespeare’s King Lear.

‘All should cherish English Touring Opera, one of the most innovative companies in the country.’ The Observer
