The Festival Director has always stressed the importance of teaching among his polymath musical activities and was determined to play this role in this year’s Festival.

These two classes are the culmination of a week of work with four exceptional young pianists preparing the complete works of Lachenmann for the concert on Tuesday. Helmut Lachenmann himself will also participate.
