Open Session: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Countertenor Owen Willetts and soprano Anna Dennis have been on an Aldeburgh Residency exploring scenes from Britten’s opera with puppeteer Peter Glanville.
This open session will present a snapshot of their work in progress, especially the dramatic relationship between the text and mercurial score of the opera when filtered through the otherworldly theatrical properties of marionettes.
