Aldeburgh Young Musicians
The imagination of creative artists and musicians has outgrown the confines of the traditional concert hall. It is not surprising that ‘site specific’ work thrives, where instruments and electronics combine to create performance experiences that redefine a space through sound and not just physical surfaces.
Under the expert guidance of Ian Dearden, Paul Griffiths and Fraser Trainer, the Aldeburgh Young Musicians have been inspired by these trends and explored unusual places at Snape.
This Open Session is the culmination of a week’s work and presents the pieces of sonic architecture they have created.
