Aldeburgh Music

This singular landscape has inspired many artists, including Sebald, whose visit, recorded in The Rings of Saturn, captures perfectly its unsettling presence and buried past. Take advantage of a very rare opportunity to explore this haunting location in the heart of winter.

The walk lasts 2 hours and will be guided by National Trust wardens.

Please be on Orford Quay 10 minutes before your departure time. Walk groups are limited to a maximum of 24 people. As Orford Ness is an exposed site ensure you wear very warm clothes and suitable footwear.

The walk is subject to cancellation on the day in the event of extreme weather.
