We are sorry to inform you that owing to an accident Sarah Connolly is unable to perform, and despite our best endeavours we have been unable to find a suitable replacement. We therefore have to cancel this evening’s concert.
Ticket holders will automatically receive a credit to their Aldeburgh Music account equivalent to the full value of the tickets; alternatively please contact us if you would like us to credit your bank account.
For your information, the next Proms classical performance is the Britten–Pears Baroque Orchestra performing ‘Corelli, Orpheus of Rome’ on Wednesday 24 August 7.30pm. Alternatively, on Monday 29 August Iestyn Davies will be singing Handel, Vivaldi and Porpora.
