The Signum Quartet has been shaped and influenced by intensive periods of study with the Alban Berg, Artemis and Melos Quartets as well as masterclasses with György Kurtág, Tabea Zimmermann, Walter Levin, Alfred Brendel and Jörg Widmann.
Since October 2008 the quartet has received a scholarship from the IIMC of the Reina Sofía School of Music which has enabled further studies with Prof. Günter Pichler of the Alban Berg Quartet.
