As well as appearing in prestigious venues at home, and annual performances in the Snape Proms, SYO has toured extensively throughout Europe.
Founded in 1990, the Suffolk Youth Wind Band has up to 60 members, aged between 13 and 19 years. The band’s repertoire is wide-ranging in style, from the most taxing symphonic wind band pieces to jazz, big band and show music.
As well as performances in Suffolk and the region, annual concert tours have included Holland, Austria, Belgium, Germany, France and Spain
