Sponsorship and Donations
In 1948, our founders relied on the support of people who shared their vision.
Today, Aldeburgh's international reputation is still sustained in this way
by the support of individuals, trusts, companies, foundations and other grant-making
bodies who contribute nearly half of our annual income. You can play a vital
role in helping us continue to be one of the most vibrant and innovative music
centres in Europe for young, amateur and professional musicians:
As an individual
- Through a donation to a specific area of our work or a concert, an education/community
project or the commissioning of a new work, etc.
- Through naming a seat, window, dressing room or musical instrument so
that your gift is acknowledged over a 10-year period
- Through support for the bursary scheme that we run to help young talented
musicians attend the Britten–Pears Young Artist Programme at a time
when their finances are at their most stretched
- Through a legacy
