Our unique programme is the perfect springboard to take your music to a new level, letting you meet and exchange creative ideas with like-minded young musicians.

2012 Hesse Scheme inviting applicants

The Hesse Scheme funds 12 young people, aged 18-25, during each of the two weeks of the Aldeburgh Festival. Participants are drawn from many backgrounds and, increasingly, from overseas.
If you have a love of music, or know someone who might be interested in helping with behind the scenes work during the Festival we'd love to hear from you.

Then Group A could be for you....

Meeting regularly across the year, Group A is an unauditioned vocal and performance group, for 14-18 year olds.

Directed by Pete Letanka, the group also works with a variety of artists, encouraging a wide selection of vocal techniques and develops new material ready for performance.
