Tarantula in Petrol Blue
This month we are auditioning for a new music theatre piece Tarantula in Petrol Blue. With text by acclaimed writer Philip Ridley and music by Aldeburgh alumna Anna Meredith (who took part in the last night of this year's BBC Proms), the piece is a dark, urban, Tim Burton-esque modern musical for teenagers. Due to be performed at Snape in February, the cast will be made up of local 14-19 year olds: if you're interested in auditioning, please call 01728 687100 or email preive@aldeburgh.co.uk

Aldeburgh Music Development Plan
The final push is now on to complete all the roofs of the new studio complex. The concrete shell that encases the Britten Studio is finished and will soon be hidden by two layers of insulation and a slate roof. As the buildings become watertight, the increased activity internally by the teams of electricians and engineers is showing results. For more information about the project please call 01728 687100 or visit www.aldeburgh.co.uk.
