Future FM 105.1 Podcasts
For two weeks in July, Aldeburgh Music worked with 30 young people from HMP & YOI Warren Hill, Carlford Unit, to set up and run an FM radio station. The young people planned, programmed and ran the station, with over 40 hours of air time. They also wrote and performed original music which was showcased during the week. Aldeburgh Music Development Plan
Essential work to Elizabeth Court is now complete. Re-roofing and refurbishment, including re-decoration throughout, was done in record time so that the building could open its doors in August to the Britten–Pears Orchestra. 'It's great that so many of us can be together', said one Orchestra member. 'So close to all the shops, pubs and (of course) the beach.' However with an orchestra of over 70 we are still very much reliant on our wonderful network of local landlords and landladies, who hosted the remaining 40+ BPO members!
