Trust & Foundations

Aldeburgh Music’s Trust and Foundation supporters are valued partners in our mission to bring the benefits of music and music making to as many people as possible. Grants from Trusts & Foundations are integral to the success of all of our programmes:

  • Aldeburgh Education – running a wide range of projects that bring the benefits of music to those most in need, from care homes to prisons, schools and community groups.
  • Aldeburgh Young Musicians – providing high quality musical education and training to talented 8–18 year olds from Suffolk
  • Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme – providing high level development, training, and performance opportunities to emerging artists from 19 upwards.
  • Artist Residencies – bespoke year-round development opportunities for professional musicians at any age or stage of their career – unique in Europe.
  • Jerwood Opera Writing Programme – Foundation course and Fellowships covering every element of creating and producing a new opera.
  • Our year-round performance programme of world class artists and conductors, including the internationally renowned annual Aldeburgh Festival and Snape Proms.
