Dale Devereux Barker - Just Another Day

'Barker makes work out of all sorts of things. Out of pictures, out of words, out of humour, out of sex, out of sitting on the beach… having never lost the ability to highlight the incongruous and the absurd in his visual commentary on the world.'

Fran Crowe - Lines of Exchange

A lifelong collector of the discarded and unvalued, Fran Crowe presents what she finds - and what she finds out. Sometimes playful but at the same time deadly serious, her practice frequently draws attention to how we foul our own nest, in particular through our use of plastics and their impact on our oceans and coastline.
She is passionate about the Suffolk coast where she lives and her work is rooted in this sense of place and her experiences of it.

She will be in the studio to discuss her work on 8 August from 5pm, and on 15 August 2pm – 5pm
